The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most complete of the believers in faith are those with the best character, and the best of you are those who are best to their wives."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن محمد بن عمرو قال حدثنا أبو سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ أكمل المؤمنين إيمانا أحسنهم خلقا وخياركم خياركم لنسائكم
Its isnad is sahih, it appeared previously at 7396. The hadith is also found in Abu Dawud 4682, in the chapter on sunnah, the evidence for the increase of faith, Darimi 2/323, in the chapter on marriage, Ibn Hibban 318, number 1311, and Hakim 1/3, who graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
