Abu Abdul-Malik bin Sala reported,

Abd Khayr used to lead us in the dawn prayer. He said, One day we prayed Fajr behind Ali . When he gave the salam, he stood up and we stood with him. He walked until he came to the open courtyard, where he sat down and leaned his back against the wall. Then he raised his head and said, "Ayman, bring me the water-skin and the basin."Then he said to him, "Pour."So he poured for him. He washed his hands three times, then put his right hand in and rinsed his mouth and nose three times. Then he put both hands in and washed his face three times. Then he put his right hand in and washed his right forearm three times, then washed his left forearm three times. Then he said, "This is the wudu of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

حدثنا عبد الله حدثنا إسحاق بن إسماعيل حدثنا مسهر بن عبد الملك بن سلع حدثنا

أبي عبد الملك بن سلع قال

كان عبد خير يؤمنا في الفجر فقال صلينا يوما الفجر خلف علي رضي الله عنه فلما سلم قام وقمنا معه فجاء يمشي حتى انتهى إلى الرحبة فجلس وأسند ظهره إلى الحائط ثم رفع رأسه فقال يا قنبر ائتني بالركوة والطست ثم قال له صب فصب عليه فغسل كفه ثلاثا وأدخل كفه اليمنى فمضمض واستنشق ثلاثا ثم أدخل كفيه فغسل وجهه ثلاثا ثم أدخل كفه اليمنى فغسل ذراعه الأيمن ثلاثا ثم غسل ذراعه الأيسر ثلاثا فقال هذا وضوء رسول الله ﷺ
