The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying with the door locked. Ahmad's version says, "He was praying." I came and asked for the door to be opened. Ahmad's version says he walked over, opened the door for me, and then returned to his place of prayer. He mentioned that the door was facing the qiblah.
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل ومسدد وهذا لفظه قال حدثنا بشر يعني ابن المفضل حدثنا برد عن الزهري عن عروة بن الزبير
كان رسول الله ﷺ قال أحمد يصلي والباب عليه مغلق فجئت فاستفتحت قال أحمد فمشى ففتح لي ثم رجع إلى مصلاه وذكر أن الباب كان في القبلة
Its isnad is daif. Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on what is permissible of walking and action during the voluntary prayer, hadith no. 601, from the hadith of Bishr bin Mufaddal, with this wording, and he said, "Hasan gharib." Zuhri was mentioned earlier at 785, and I did not find an explicit statement of his hearing in this hadith. It has a daif corroborating narration in Daraqutni, 2/80.
