Huzaifa bin Yaman reported,

He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying at night. He would say "Allahu Akbar" three times, then, "Possessor of dominion, might, majesty, and grandeur." Then he began the prayer and recited Surah al-Baqarah. Then he bowed, and his bowing was about as long as his standing. In his bowing he would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent. Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent." Then he raised his head from bowing, and his standing was about as long as his bowing, saying, "To my Lord be all praise." Then he prostrated, and his prostration was about as long as his standing. In his prostration he would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High." Then he raised his head from prostration, and he would sit between the two prostrations for about as long as his prostration, saying, "My Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me." He prayed four units, in which he recited al-Baqarah, Al Imran, an-Nisa, and al-Maidah, or al-Anam. Shuba was uncertain.

عن حذيفة

أنه رأى رسول الله ﷺ يصلي من الليل فكان يقول الله أكبر ثلاثا ذو الملكوت والجبروت والكبرياء والعظمة ثم استفتح فقرأ البقرة ثم ركع فكان ركوعه نحوا من قيامه وكان يقول في ركوعه سبحان ربي العظيم سبحان ربي العظيم ثم رفع رأسه من الركوع فكان قيامه نحوا من ركوعه يقول لربي الحمد ثم سجد فكان سجوده نحوا من قيامه فكان يقول في سجوده سبحان ربي الأعلى ثم رفع رأسه من السجود وكان يقعد فيما بين السجدتين نحوا من سجوده وكان يقول رب اغفر لي رب اغفر لي فصلى أربع ركعات فقرأ فيهن البقرة وآل عمران والنساء والمائدة أو الأنعام شك شعبة
