The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade pecking like a crow during prayer, spreading out the forearms on the ground like a beast of prey, and a man reserving a particular spot in the mosque for himself the way a camel reserves its resting place. This is the wording of Qutayba.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن نقرة الغراب وافتراش السبع وأن يوطن الرجل المكان في المسجد كما يوطن البعير هذا لفظ قتيبة
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in the Book of Tatbiq, chapter on the prohibition of pecking like a crow, hadith no. 1113, from the hadith of Layth bin Saad through this route. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith nos. 662 and 1319, as did Ibn Hibban, hadith no. 476, and Hakim, 1/229, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has corroborating narrations, among them a daif corroboration in the Musnad, 5/447, which contains Tamim bin Mahmud, whom Bukhari and the majority of scholars judged daif.
