Umm Fadl bint Harith heard him reciting "By those sent forth in succession" [Mursalat 77:1], and she said, "My son, your recitation of this surah has reminded me. It was the last surah I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite in the Maghrib prayer."
حدثنا القعنبي عن مالك عن ابن شهاب عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة
أن أم الفضل بنت الحارث سمعته وهو يقرأ والمرسلات عرفا فقالت يا بني لقد ذكرتني بقراءتك هذه السورة إنها لآخر ما سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ بها في المغرب
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on adhan, the section on recitation in Maghrib, hadith no. 763, and Muslim in the chapter on prayer, the section on recitation in Fajr, hadith no. 462, from the hadith of Malik through this same chain, and it is found in Muwatta (Yahya's narration): 1/78.
