The Prophet ﷺ would stand so long during the first rakah of the noon prayer that no footstep could be heard.
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام حدثنا محمد بن جحادة عن رجل
أن النبي ﷺ كان يقوم في الركعة الأولى من صلاة الظهر حتى لا يسمع وقع قدم
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 4/356, from Affan with the same chain * an unknown man. Bayhaqi narrated it: 2/66 with a very daif chain, naming the unspecified man as Turfah Hadrami, who is of unknown status. Diya and others asserted that he is the one occurring in this chain, but they did not mention any evidence for that.
