It is reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he would observe two pauses of silence, one when he began the prayer and another when he finished the entire recitation. He then mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Yunus.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن خلاد حدثنا خالد بن الحارث عن أشعث عن الحسن
عن النبي ﷺ أنه كان يسكت سكتتين إذا استفتح وإذا فرغ من القراءة كلها فذكر معنى حديث يونس
