Shuayb bin Abu Hamza reported,

Muhammad bin Munkadir, Ibn Abu Farwa, and other jurists of Madinah said to me, "When you recite that, say instead, 'and I am one of the Muslims,'" meaning the words "and I am the first of the Muslims" [Anam 6:163].

حدثني شعيب بن أبي حمزة قال

قال لي محمد بن المنكدر وابن أبي فروة وغيرهما من فقهاء أهل المدينة فإذا قلت أنت ذاك فقل وأنا من المسلمين يعني قوله {وأنا أول المسلمين}
