It is reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that whenever he stood for the obligatory prayer, he would say the takbir and raise his hands level with his shoulders. He would do the same when he finished his recitation and was about to bow, and when he rose from bowing. He would not raise his hands at any point in his prayer while seated. When he rose from the two prostrations, he would likewise raise his hands and say the takbir, then supplicate, similar to the supplication mentioned in the hadith of Abdul-Aziz, with some additions and omissions. He did not mention, "All good is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You."Wazad in it that the Prophet ﷺ would say upon concluding the prayer, "O Allah, forgive me what I have done before and what I will do later, what I have concealed and what I have made public. You are my God. There is no god but You."

عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه كان إذا قام إلى الصلاة المكتوبة كبر ورفع يديه حذو منكبيه ويصنع مثل ذلك إذا قضى قراءته وإذا أراد أن يركع ويصنعه إذا رفع من الركوع ولا يرفع يديه في شيء من صلاته وهو قاعد وإذا قام من السجدتين رفع يديه كذلك وكبر ودعا نحو حديث عبد العزيز في الدعاء يزيد وينقص الشيء ولم يذكر والخير كله في يديك والشر ليس إليك وزاد فيه ويقول عند انصرافه من الصلاة اللهم اغفر لي ما قدمت وما أخرت وما أسررت وأعلنت أنت إلهي لا إله إلا أنت
