The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us while we were in our desert encampment, and Abbas was with him. He prayed in the open desert with no barrier in front of him, while a young female donkey of ours and a female dog were playing about in front of him, yet he paid no attention to that.
حدثنا عبد الملك بن شعيب بن الليث قال حدثني أبي عن جدي عن يحيى بن أيوب عن محمد بن عمر بن علي عن عباس بن عبيد الله بن عباس
أتانا رسول الله ﷺ ونحن في بادية لنا ومعه عباس فصلى في صحراء ليس بين يديه سترة وحمارة لنا وكلبة تعبثان بين يديه فما بالى ذلك

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in the chapter on qibla, in the section mentioning what breaks the prayer and what does not, hadith number 754, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Umar bin Ali, from him. Abbas bin Ubaydullah did not meet his uncle Fadl bin Abbas, so the chain is disconnected.
