This hadith is reported with its chain of narrators. He said, "Two young girls from Banu Abdul-Muttalib came fighting with each other, and he took hold of them."Uthman's version says, "He separated them."Dawud's version says, "He pulled one of them away from the other, and he paid no mind to that."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة وداود بن مخراق الفريابي قالا حدثنا جرير
بهذا الحديث بإسناده قال فجاءت جاريتان من بني عبد المطلب اقتتلتا فأخذهما قال عثمان ففرع بينهما وقال داود فنزع إحداهما عن الأخرى فما بالى ذلك
