I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever lets his garment hang below his ankles during prayer out of arrogance, Allah grants him no protection, neither in what is lawful nor in what is forbidden."
حدثنا زيد بن أخزم حدثنا أبو داود عن أبي عوانة عن عاصم عن أبي عثمان
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من أسبل إزاره في صلاته خيلاء فليس من الله في حل ولا حرام
Sourcing, its isnad is hasan. Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra, no. 9680, from the hadith of Abu Awana through this route, and it is also found in Musnad Abu Dawud Tayalisi, no. 351, with a similar meaning.
