The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited Umm Haram, and they brought him butter and dates. He said, "Return this to its container and this to its waterskin, for I am fasting." Then he stood and led us in two voluntary units of prayer. Umm Sulaym and Umm Haram stood behind us.Thabit said, I only know that he said, he placed me on his right side on a mat.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد أخبرنا ثابت
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل على أم حرام فأتوه بسمن وتمر فقال ردوا هذا في وعائه وهذا في سقائه فإني صائم ثم قام فصلى بنا ركعتين تطوعا فقامت أم سليم وأم حرام خلفنا قال ثابت ولا أعلمه إلا قال أقامني عن يمينه على بساط
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ahmad narrated it: 160/3, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama with the same wording. He also narrated it: 330/1, from Ibn Abbas, who said, "So he placed me beside him." Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs: 534/3, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
