The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let the best among you give the call to prayer, and let those most versed in the Quran lead you in prayer."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا حسين بن عيسى الحنفي حدثنا الحكم بن أبان عن عكرمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليؤذن لكم خياركم وليؤمكم قراؤكم
[Its chain is daif] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Adhan, chapter on the merit of adhan and the reward of the muezzins, hadith no. 726, from Uthman bin Abu Shayba with this chain. Husayn bin Isa Hanafi is daif, most scholars judged him daif.
