The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the prayer is called, do not stand until you see me."
حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم وموسى بن إسمعيل قالا حدثنا أبان عن يحيى
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا أقيمت الصلاة فلا تقوموا حتى تروني
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Adhan, chapter "When Should People Stand Up If They See the Imam at the Time of the Iqamah," hadith no. 637, and Muslim in the Book of Mosques, chapter "When Should People Stand Up for Prayer," hadith no. 604, from the hadith of Yahya bin Abu Kathir, with this same chain.
