I was with Ibn Umar when a man called the second call to prayer for Dhuhr or Asr. He said, "Let us leave, for this is an innovation."

[Hasan]. Bayhaqi narrated it in 1/424 through the hadith of Abu Dawud, and Tirmidhi mentioned it without a full chain, no. 198. The hadith has another route in Abdul-Razzaq, no. 1832, and elsewhere.
