A mouse came and began dragging a wick. It brought it and dropped it in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ onto the small prayer mat he was sitting on, burning a spot the size of a dirham. He said, "When you go to sleep, put out your lamps, for Satan guides creatures like this to do such things, and they may burn you."

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Bukhari transmitted it in Adab al-Mufrad, no. 1222, and Abd bin Humayd in his Musnad (Muntakhab), no. 591, from the hadith of Amr bin Talha, through this route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1997, as did Hakim, 4/284, 285, and Dhahabi concurred with him.The chain of Simak from Ikrima is a daif chain, but the hadith of Bukhari, nos. 6294 and 6295, and Muslim, no. 2016, make it unnecessary.
