The Prophet ﷺ said, "The muezzin is forgiven to the extent of his voice, and every moist and dry thing bears witness for him. The one who attends the prayer has twenty-five prayers recorded for him, and what is between the two prayers is expiated for him."
حدثنا حفص بن عمر النمري حدثنا شعبة عن موسى بن أبي عثمان عن أبي يحيى
عن النبي ﷺ قال المؤذن يغفر له مدى صوته ويشهد له كل رطب ويابس وشاهد الصلاة يكتب له خمس وعشرون صلاة ويكفر عنه ما بينهما
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ibn Majah related it in the Book of Adhan, Chapter on the Merit of the Adhan and the Reward of the Muazzins, Hadith: 724, and Nasai, Hadith: 646, both from the hadith of Shubah through this chain. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, Hadith: 390, as did Ibn Hibban, Hadith: 292, and the hadith has many corroborating narrations.
