Similar to the hadith of Wahib. Ismail said, "I narrated it to Ayub, and he said, 'Except for the iqamah.'"

Bukhari related it in the chapter on adhan, in the section on the iqamah being said once except for the phrase "the prayer has begun," hadith no. 607, and Muslim related it in the chapter on prayer, in the section on the command to say the adhan in pairs and the iqamah singly except for the phrase of the iqamah, which is doubled, hadith no. 378, from the hadith of Ismail bin Ulaya, transmitted through him.
