Uthman reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever says three times, 'In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the Aleem,' no sudden affliction will strike him until morning, and whoever says it three times in the morning, no sudden affliction will strike him until evening."The narrator said that Abban bin Uthman was later struck with paralysis, and the man who had heard the hadith from him kept staring at him.So Abban asked him, "Why are you looking at me like that? By Allah, I did not lie about Uthman, nor did Uthman lie about the Prophet ﷺ. But on the day this affliction came upon me, I was angry, and I forgot to say it."He did not mention the account of the paralysis.
