Abu Dharr used to say, "Whoever says in the morning, 'O Allah, whatever oath I have sworn, whatever word I have spoken, or whatever vow I have made, Your will overrides all of it. What You will, comes to pass, and what You do not will, does not come to pass. O Allah, forgive me and overlook it for me. O Allah, whomever You have blessed, my blessing is upon him, and whomever You have cursed, my curse is upon him,' he has secured an exception for himself for that day," or he said, "for that day."
حدثنا ابن معاذ حدثنا أبي حدثنا المسعودي
كان أبو ذر يقول من قال حين يصبح اللهم ما حلفت من حلف أو قلت من قول أو نذرت من نذر فمشيئتك بين يدي ذلك كله ما شئت كان وما لم تشأ لم يكن اللهم اغفر لي وتجاوز لي عنه اللهم فمن صليت عليه فعليه صلاتي ومن لعنت فعليه لعنتي كان في استثناء يومه ذلك أو قال ذلك اليوم
[Its chain is daif]: Bayhaqi narrated it in Al-Asma wal-Sifat, p. 210, and in one copy, p. 164, from the hadith of Abu Dawud with the same chain. There is doubt about whether Qasim bin Muhammad actually heard it from Abu Dharr.
