His mother related to him, and she used to serve one of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ, that the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ told her that the Prophet ﷺ used to teach her, saying, "Say each morning, 'Glory be to Allah and praise Him. There is no power except in Allah. Whatever Allah wills comes to pass, and whatever He does not will does not come to pass.' Whoever says these words in the morning will be protected until the evening, and whoever says them in the evening will be protected until the morning."

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra, no. 9840, and in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla, no. 121, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Wahb, through this same chain. Abdul-Hameed, the freedman of Banu Hashim, no one other than Ibn Hibban considered him trustworthy.
