Abu Bakr, may Allah have mercy on him, asked permission to see the Prophet ﷺ and heard Ayesha's voice raised. When he entered, he reached out to strike her, saying, "Do I see you raising your voice to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"The Prophet ﷺ began to hold him back, and Abu Bakr left angry.When Abu Bakr had gone, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Did you see how I rescued you from the man?"Abu Bakr stayed away for some days, then asked permission to see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found that the two of them had made peace. He said to them, "Bring me into your peace as you brought me into your war."The Prophet ﷺ said, "We have done so, we have done so."

استأذن أبو بكر رحمة الله عليه على النبي ﷺ فسمع صوت عائشة عاليا فلما دخل تناولها ليلطمها وقال ألا أراك ترفعين صوتك على رسول الله ﷺ فجعل النبي ﷺ يحجزه وخرج أبو بكر مغضبا فقال النبي ﷺ حين خرج أبو بكر كيف رأيتني أنقذتك من الرجل قال فمكث أبو بكر أياما ثم استأذن على رسول الله ﷺ فوجدهما قد اصطلحا فقال لهما أدخلاني في سلمكما كما أدخلتماني في حربكما فقال النبي ﷺ قد فعلنا قد فعلنا
[Its isnad is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 4/271, from the hadith of Abu Ishaq Sabi via this route, and he used "an" (indicating possible discontinuity), and his mention was omitted in Sunan al-Kubra of Nasai, no. 8495.
