A man named Asram was among the group who came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "What is your name?"He replied, "I am Asram."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Rather, you are Zurah."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا بشر يعني ابن المفضل قال حدثني بشير بن ميمون
أن رجلا يقال له أصرم كان في النفر الذين أتوا رسول الله ﷺ فقال رسول الله ﷺ ما اسمك قال أنا أصرم قال بل أنت زرعة
[Its isnad is hasan] Tabarani narrated it in al-Kabir, 1/196, and Hakim graded it sahih, 4/274, and Dhahabi agreed with him, 523, from the hadith of Musaddad, through him.
