The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever does not show mercy to our young and acknowledge the right of our elders is not one of us."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وابن السرح قالا حدثنا سفيان عن ابن أبي نجيح عن ابن عامر عن عبد الله بن عمرو يرويه
عن النبي ﷺ قال من لم يرحم صغيرنا ويعرف حق كبيرنا فليس منا
[Hasan] Ahmad narrated it, 2/222, and Humaydi, (no. 586 in my verification), from Sufyan bin Uyayna, through this route. The hadith has many corroborating narrations found in Tirmidhi, no. 1920, and elsewhere.
