When we arrived in Medina, some women came to me while I was playing on a swing with my hair grown out in tufts. They took me away, prepared me, and made me ready. Then they brought me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he consummated the marriage with me when I was nine years old.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد أخبرنا هشام بن عروة عن عروة
فلما قدمنا المدينة جاءني نسوة وأنا ألعب على أرجوحة وأنا مجممة فذهبن بي فهيأنني وصنعنني ثم أتين بي رسول الله ﷺ فبنى بي وأنا ابنة تسع سنين
