The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to me on the morning of my wedding and sat on my bed just as you are sitting now. Some young girls began beating their tambourines and singing in lament for those of my forefathers who had been killed on the day of Badr, until one of them said, "And among us is a Prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow."He said, "Leave this off, and say what you were saying before."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا بشر عن خالد بن ذكوان
جاء رسول الله ﷺ فدخل علي صبيحة بني بي فجلس على فراشي كمجلسك مني فجعلت جويريات يضربن بدف لهن ويندبن من قتل من آبائي يوم بدر إلى أن قالت إحداهن وفينا نبي يعلم ما في الغد فقال دعي هذه وقولي الذي كنت تقولين
