He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lying on his back, Qanabi said in the mosque, with one leg placed over the other.
حدثنا النفيلي حدثنا مالك ح و حدثنا القعنبي عن مالك عن ابن شهاب
أنه رأى رسول الله ﷺ مستلقيا قال القعنبي في المسجد واضعا إحدى رجليه على الأخرى
Bukhari related it in Kitab al-Salah, chapter on lying on one's back in the masjid and stretching out one's leg, hadith no. 475, from Qanabi, with this chain. Muslim also related it in Kitab al-Libas wal-Zinah, chapter on the permissibility of lying on one's back and placing one leg over the other, hadith no. 2100, from the hadith of Malik, with this chain, and it is found in Muwatta 1/172.
