Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat in conversation, he would frequently lift his gaze toward the sky.
[Its chain is daif] It was narrated by Baghandi in Musnad Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, no. 3, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Salama, with this same wording. Muhammad bin Ishaq used the ambiguous form "an" (indicating unclear transmission) here, though he stated explicitly that he heard it directly in the version narrated by Sufyan bin Waki, who is daif.
