The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed anyone who sits in the middle of a circle.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا أبان حدثنا قتادة قال حدثني أبو مجلز
أن رسول الله ﷺ لعن من جلس وسط الحلقة
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tirmidhi recorded it in the Book of Manners, chapter on the dislike of sitting in the middle of a circle, hadith no. 2753, from the hadith of Qatada, with this wording, and he said, hasan sahih. Abu Majliz is suspected of tadlis, and Shuba said, he did not meet Huzaifa. Jami Tahsil, p. 296.
