[Its isnad is sahih]. Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship, chapter on gratitude toward one who has been kind to you, hadith no. 1954, from the hadith of Rabi bin Muslim by this route, and he said it is sahih. Ibn Hibban also graded it sahih, hadith no. 2070.
