The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Neither the arrogant miser nor the harsh tyrant will enter Paradise." He explained, "The arrogant miser is the coarse and rude one."

[Sahih] Abu Yaala narrated it in his Musnad, no. 1476, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, and it is also found in al-Musannaf, 8/328. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Hakim, 1/60, 61, and elsewhere.
