The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Whom do you consider to be the strong wrestler among you?"They replied, "The one whom Some men cannot throw down."He said, "No, rather it is the one who controls himself when angry."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم التيمي عن الحارث بن سويد
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما تعدون الصرعة فيكم قالوا الذي لا يصرعه الرجال قال لا ولكنه الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب
Reported by Muslim, in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship, chapter on the virtue of one who controls himself when angry, etc., hadith no. 2608, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, through this same route, and it is also found in al-Musannaf, 8/344.
