That deformed man was indeed with us on that day in the mosque. We used to sit with him by night and by day. He was poor, and I saw him among the destitute attending the meal of Ali along with the people, and I had clothed him with a hooded cloak of mine.Abu Maryam said, "The deformed one was called Nafi Dhu al-Thudayya. On his arm there was something resembling a woman's breast, with a nipple at its tip like the nipple of a breast, on which were a few hairs like the whiskers of a cat."

إن كان ذلك المخدج لمعنا يومئذ في المسجد نجالسه بالليل والنهار وكان فقيرا ورأيته مع المساكين يشهد طعام علي عليه السلام مع الناس وقد كسوته برنسا لي قال أبو مريم وكان المخدج يسمى نافعا ذا الثدية وكان في يده مثل ثدي المرأة على رأسه حلمة مثل حلمة الثدي عليه شعيرات مثل سبالة السنور
