The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Trumpet is a horn that is blown into."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا معتمر قال سمعت أبي قال حدثنا أسلم عن بشر بن شغاف
عن النبي ﷺ قال الصور قرن ينفخ فيه
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Tirmidhi narrated it in tafsir of the Quran, chapter on Surah Zumar, no. 3244, from the hadith of Sulayman Taymi, Abu Mutamir, through this same chain, and he said, hasan, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2570, as did Hakim, 2/506 and 4/560, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
