I heard Malik being told, "The people of misguided sects use this hadith as an argument against us."Malik replied, "Argue against them with its ending."They said, "What do you say about one who dies young?"He said, "Allah knows best what they would have done."
قال أبو داود قرئ على الحارث بن مسكين وأنا أسمع أخبرك يوسف بن عمرو أخبرنا
سمعت مالكا قيل له إن أهل الأهواء يحتجون علينا بهذا الحديث قال مالك احتج عليهم بآخره قالوا أرأيت من يموت وهو صغير قال الله أعلم بما كانوا عاملين
