Rabi, the sister of Anas bin Nadr, broke the front tooth of a woman. They came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ruled according to the Book of Allah that retaliation was due.Anas bin Nadr said, "By the One who sent you with the truth, her tooth shall not be broken today."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Anas, the Book of Allah prescribes retaliation."But the family agreed to accept compensation and took it. The Prophet of Allah ﷺ marveled at this and said, "Among the servants of Allah are those who, if they swear an oath by Allah, He fulfills it for them."

كسرت الربيع أخت أنس بن النضر ثنية امرأة فأتوا النبي ﷺ فقضى بكتاب الله القصاص فقال أنس بن النضر والذي بعثك بالحق لا تكسر ثنيتها اليوم قال يا أنس كتاب الله القصاص فرضوا بأرش أخذوه فعجب نبي الله ﷺ وقال إن من عباد الله من لو أقسم على الله لأبره
