The Messenger of Allah ﷺ (Musaddad said, "delivered a sermon on the Day of the Conquest," then the narrators agreed) said, "Every claim to glory from the days of ignorance, whether involving blood or wealth, that is mentioned or invoked, lies beneath these two feet of mine, except for providing water to the pilgrims and the custodianship of the Kaaba."Then he said, "The blood-money for an unintentional killing that resembles intentional, such as one carried out with a whip or a stick, is one hundred camels, forty of which must be pregnant females."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب ومسدد المعنى قالا حدثنا حماد عن خالد عن القاسم بن ربيعة عن عقبة بن أوس
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال مسدد خطب يوم الفتح ثم اتفقا فقال ألا إن كل مأثرة كانت في الجاهلية من دم أو مال تذكر وتدعى تحت قدمي إلا ما كان من سقاية الحاج وسدانة البيت ثم قال ألا إن دية الخطإ شبه العمد ما كان بالسوط والعصا مائة من الإبل منها أربعون في بطونها أولادها
