The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is killed in a blind affray, in a quarrel where stones are thrown between people, or by whips, or by being struck with a stick, that is unintentional killing, and its blood-money is the blood-money of unintentional killing. Whoever is killed deliberately is subject to retaliation."Ibn Ubayd added, "Retaliation by the hand."Then the two narrators agreed on the wording, "Whoever obstructs this, upon him is the curse of Allah and His wrath. Neither obligatory nor voluntary worship will be accepted from him."The narration of Sufyan is more complete.
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد حدثنا حماد ح و حدثنا ابن السرح حدثنا سفيان وهذا حديثه عن عمرو عن طاووس قال من قتل وقال
رسول الله ﷺ من قتل في عميا في رمي يكون بينهم بحجارة أو بالسياط أو ضرب بعصا فهو خطأ وعقله عقل الخطإ ومن قتل عمدا فهو قود قال ابن عبيد قود يد ثم اتفقا ومن حال دونه فعليه لعنة الله وغضبه لا يقبل منه صرف ولا عدل وحديث سفيان أتم
