Anas bin Malik reported,

A Jewish woman brought the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a poisoned sheep, and he ate from it. She was then brought before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he questioned her about what she had done. She said, "I wanted to kill you."He replied, "Allah would not have given you the power to do that," or he said, "to do that to me."They asked, "Shall we not kill her?"He answered, "No."I continued to recognize the effects of that poison in the uvula of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
