A man committed adultery with a woman, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered that he be lashed with the prescribed punishment. Then it was reported that he was married, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered that he be stoned.
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال حدثنا ح و حدثنا ابن السرح المعنى قال أخبرنا عبد الله بن وهب عن ابن جريج عن أبي الزبير
أن رجلا زنى بامرأة فأمر به النبي ﷺ فجلد الحد ثم أخبر أنه محصن فأمر به فرجم
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in al-Kubra, no. 7211, from Qutayba through this chain. Ibn Jurayj transmitted with "an" (without specifying direct hearing).
