There was a woman from Makhzum who used to borrow goods and then deny having taken them. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that her hand be cut off. He related a narration similar to the hadith of Qutayba from Layth from Ibn Shihab, with the addition, "So the Prophet ﷺ cut off her hand."
