A woman from the tribe of Makhzum used to borrow household items and then deny having received them. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that her hand be cut off, and it was carried out.

أن امرأة مخزومية كانت تستعير المتاع فتجحده فأمر النبي ﷺ بها فقطعت يدها
