Muaz came to me while I was in Yemen, and there was a man who had been a Jew, then accepted Islam, and afterwards renounced Islam. When Muaz arrived, he said, "I will not dismount from my animal until he is killed." So the man was killed.One of the two narrators added that he had been called upon to repent before that.
