A man from Basra asked him, "Tell me what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."He replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No man who prays before sunrise and before sunset will enter the Fire.'"The man asked him three times, "Did you hear it from him yourself?"Each time he answered, "Yes, my ears heard it and my heart retained it."The man then said, "And I too heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى عن إسمعيل بن أبي خالد
سأله رجل من أهل البصرة فقال أخبرني ما سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ قال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول لا يلج النار رجل صلى قبل طلوع الشمس وقبل أن تغرب قال أنت سمعته منه ثلاث مرات قال نعم كل ذلك يقول سمعته أذناي ووعاه قلبي فقال الرجل وأنا سمعته ﷺ يقول ذلك
