The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Muslims will soon be besieged and forced back to Medina, until the farthest of their frontier outposts is Salah."
قال أبو داود حدثت عن ابن وهب قال حدثنا جرير بن حازم عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ يوشك المسلمون أن يحاصروا إلى المدينة حتى يكون أبعد مسالحهم سلاح
[Its chain is hasan] Tabarani narrated it in Saghir 2/40 from the hadith of Ibn Wahb through the same route, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of Muslim, 4/511, and Dhahabi agreed with him. It has a corroborating report narrated as mawquf by Hakim, but its chain is daif.Jareer bin Hazim has not been established to have practiced tadlis. And Allah knows best.
