The Prophet ﷺ said, "Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Successful is the one who restrains his hand."
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى بن فارس حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى عن شيبان عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
عن النبي ﷺ قال ويل للعرب من شر قد اقترب أفلح من كف يده
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad recorded it, 2/441, from the hadith of Amash with this wording, using "an" in transmission, so the chain is daif. The hadith has corroborating witnesses in meaning in Hakim, 4/439, and elsewhere, apart from his statement, "Successful is the one who restrains his hand."
