The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Pray the dawn prayer when the morning light has spread, for that brings you greater reward," or "greater reward."
حدثنا إسحق بن إسمعيل حدثنا سفيان عن ابن عجلان عن عاصم بن عمر بن قتادة بن النعمان عن محمود بن لبيد
قال رسول الله ﷺ أصبحوا بالصبح فإنه أعظم لأجوركم أو أعظم للأجر
[Sahih]. Ibn Majah reported it in the Book of Prayer, Chapter on the Time of Fajr Prayer, no. 672, and Nasai, no. 549, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ajlan through this route, and he explicitly stated that he heard it directly. Muhammad bin Ishaq corroborated him, as found in Tirmidhi, no. 154, who said, "Hasan sahih." Ibn Hibban also graded it sahih, no. 263.
