She said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray the dawn prayer, and the women would depart wrapped in their cloaks, unrecognizable due to the lingering darkness.
حدثنا القعنبي عن مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة بنت عبد الرحمن
أنها قالت إن كان رسول الله ﷺ ليصلي الصبح فينصرف النساء متلفعات بمروطهن ما يعرفن من الغلس
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Adhan, chapter on the people waiting for the learned imam to stand up, no. 867, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Mosques, chapter on the recommendation of praying dawn prayer early in its time... and so on, no. 645, from the hadith of Malik with this chain, and it is in the Muwatta (Yahya's version) 1/5 (and Qanabi's version, pp. 28, 29).
